Being classified as a national first-class program, it has been recognized as a "Characteristic Major" and an "Excellence Program" in Anhui Province, and has successfully passed the professional engineering evaluation organized by the Ministry of Education. The program has also received Engineering Education Certifications from the Ministry of Education of China. Currently, it comprises two divisions—Construction Engineering and Bridge Engineering—along with a first-level Master Discipline in Civil Engineering, a second-level Master Discipline in Safety Engineering, and a Professional Master Discipline in Civil Engineering and Water Conservancy. In addition, the program is qualified to recruit foreign undergraduate and master’s students.
