About this program
Established in 1985, the Computer Science program began training undergraduate students and expanded to include postgraduate students in 2004. It has since been authorized to admit postgraduate students in Electronic Information (Computer Technology). Focused on advancing academic frontiers and addressing China’s strategic needs, the program conducts in-depth research into fundamental theories and key technologies. Over years of development, it has cultivated four primary research directions: computer network and distributed computing, computer vision and machine learning, data mining and intelligent computing, and complex systems and intelligent control. The program supports cutting-edge research through platforms such as the Anhui Provincial Industrial Internet Intelligent Application and Safety Engineering Research Center and the Anhui Provincial Key Laboratory for Metallurgical Industry Digital Twin Technology, among other disciplinary initiatives
