Computer science is a systematic discipline involving a variety of topics related to computing and information processing, ranging from abstract algorithm analysis, formal syntax, etc. to more specific topics such as programming languages, programming, software and hardware. Computer science is divided into theoretical computer science and experimental computer science. The latter is often called "computer science" rather than "experiment".
