Masters in Mechanical Engineering
Program Description
Technology has influenced how mechanical engineers operate, with the set of tools becoming increasingly sophisticated in recent decades. CAE is an umbrella word that encompasses everything from traditional CAD techniques to computer-aided manufacturing to computer-aided engineering, which includes finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). These and other tools have enlarged the scope of mechanical engineering. The Mechanical Engineering master's degree program at NUAA combines core mechanical engineering courses with technical electives, allowing the student to increase his/her knowledge and competence in essential Mechanical Engineering skills while allowing for in-depth study in both traditional and contemporary curriculum tracks and exploring emerging interdisciplinary areas. Course delivery is done to match the dynamic need demanded due to the advancing technology. NUAA’s postgraduate programs are research-oriented and normally include coursework, research, and a final dissertation. Students generally devote their first year to the coursework, building on the academic theories for their proposed research. The remaining semesters are dedicated to core research and the final dissertation.
