About this program
The BSc (Hons) Economics at University of Greenwich is a 3‑year full‑time undergraduate program (also with options for part‑time or a 4‑year “sandwich” mode including work placement). The degree gives you a strong grounding in economic theory, microeconomics, macroeconomics, quantitative methods and econometrics, while also emphasizing real‑world application: you learn to analyze economic, business and social problems using data, and explore contemporary issues like public policy, sustainability (ESG), finance or global economic challenges. After the first year, you have flexibility to specialize (e.g. in finance, public policy or ESG‑focused economics). The program combines academic rigour with practical tools, data‑handling (statistical software, Bloomberg terminals, trading simulation platforms), and analytical training, preparing you for either graduate employment or further postgraduate study.
