

Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine

Founded in 1954, Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a national "double first-class" university, a high-level university in Jiangsu (Class A), and a university jointly built by the Ministry of Education, the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The university is one of the earliest institutions of higher Chinese medicine in China. It has provided the first batch of teachers, compiled the first set of textbooks, and formulated the first edition of the syllabus for the training of higher Chinese medicine education in New China. It has made innovative contributions to the establishment and promotion of the higher Chinese medicine education model in New China, and is known as the "cradle of higher Chinese medicine education".
