Anhui Normal University, located in Wuhu City, Anhui Province, is a public university jointly supported by the Anhui provincial government and China’s Ministry of Education. Founded in 1928 and officially named Anhui Normal University in 1972, it covers approximately 230 hectares across three campuses and comprises 16–18 colleges offering a wide range of disciplines, including literature, science, engineering, education, economics, and the arts. The university has over 2,300 staff, including more than 1,500 full-time teachers, and enrolls tens of thousands of students, including international students under Chinese government scholarship programs.
