About

Chengdu Aeronautic Polytechnic (CAP) was founded in 1965. It is situated in Chengdu, the city with a cultural history over one thousand years old, also known as “The Land of Abundance”. CAP is a full-time college directly under the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education, and is one of the first 28 demonstration colleges among the 1,300 higher vocational and technical colleges nationwide. CAP covers about 900 mu (600,000 square meters) and has approximately 12,000 full-time students and 450 full-time teachers. CAP has always attached importance to international cooperation and exchanges. The college has maintained a good cooperative relationship with nearly 50 higher education institutions in America, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, South Korea, Thailand and so on. In 2018, outstanding achievements earned CAP AWARD OF EXCELLENCE in the category of Higher Technical Skills of the World Federation of Colleges and Polytechnics. CAP is the only institutions of higher learning in Western China that has won such a comprehensive international award. In 2019, CAP ranked among the "Top 50 Influence of Asia-Pacific Vocational Colleges". Since 2014, CAP has recruited more than 200 international students from 24 countries such as Korea, Russia, and Malaysia. CAP has always paid great attention to improve the quality of school running by constantly promoting the multi-level development of international student education, attracting more and more international students to come to study.
