Located on Xueyuan Road, Haidian District, Beijing, China University of Geosciences (Beijing) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education and jointly built with the Ministry of Natural Resources. It is one of the first 33 universities to pilot graduate schools in China, the first batch of "211 Project" universities, and the "985" excellent discipline innovation platform universities. In 2017, it entered the ranks of national "double first-class" universities. At present, 16 colleges, 42 undergraduate majors (directions) are enrolling students, 18 first level discipline doctoral degree authorization points, 34 first level discipline master degree authorization points, and 14 professional degree authorization categories.
