About

The predecessor of Hebei University of Technology is the Beiyang Craft School, which was founded in 1903. It is the earliest university in China to cultivate industrial talents, and has established the earliest college run factory in China. It is one of the first batch of "211 Project" key universities in China; Hebei Province, Tianjin City and the Ministry of Education jointly build universities; National "world-class discipline" construction universities. The university has 19 teaching institutions, 75 undergraduate majors, 25 first level master's degree authorized disciplines, 15 professional degree categories (including MBA and EMBA), 10 first level doctoral degree authorized disciplines, and 10 post doctoral research mobile stations.
