Shenyang University of Chemical Technology (SYUCT) is a public university located in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, China. It was founded in 1952 and is well known for its strengths in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Environmental Engineering, and Industrial Technology. The university is located in the Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of approximately 1,425 mu (about 95 hectares), with a total building area of 550,000 square meters. The campus blends academics, gardens, and art, and is regarded as one of the most beautiful campuses in the province. The university currently has over 1,200 full-time faculty members and 18,000 enrolled students. It is home to 10 national-level top-tier talents and 187 provincial-level talents, including 1 foreign academician of an engineering academy, 3 scientists ranked in the top 2% globally, 1 "National Yellow River-style Teaching Team," and 15 provincial/national-level excellent teaching teams, innovation teams, and teaching teams in the petroleum and chemical industry.
