About

China University of Metrology is an undergraduate college with the characteristics of measurement, standards, quality, market supervision and inspection and quarantine. The predecessor of the school is Hangzhou Metrology School founded by the State Administration of Metrology in 1978; In 1985, it was approved by the Ministry of Education to be upgraded to China Institute of Metrology; In 2016, it was renamed China University of Metrology; In 2017, it became a provincial and ministerial university. Adhering to the school motto of "thinking carefully about the national plan and people's livelihood", the school adheres to the school running philosophy of "measurement, standards and quality", vigorously promotes international school running, has established extensive friendly cooperation with universities and research institutions in more than 30 countries, and has established the world's first "the Belt and Road" standardized education and research university alliance.
