Nanjing Agricultural University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, with agriculture and life sciences as its advantages and characteristics and the coordinated development of agriculture, science, economics, management, engineering, literature and law as its multi-disciplinary development. It is a key university under the national "211 Project", a "985 Advantage Discipline Innovation Platform" and a "double first-class" construction university. The university has 63 undergraduate enrollment majors, 30 first level disciplines authorized by master, 20 professional degree granting rights, 17 first level disciplines authorized by doctor and 15 post doctoral mobile stations.
