South China Normal University was founded in 1933, formerly known as the Normal College of Lixiqin University in Guangdong Province. It is a national "211 Project" key university, a provincial and ministerial university, a high-level university in Guangdong Province and a national "first-class discipline" university. It has been selected into the National "111 Plan", "Outstanding Teacher Training Plan", the National Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training Plan, the National Construction of High level University Public Postgraduate Program, the National Undergraduate Cultural Quality Education Base, etc., and is the member unit of China Artificial Intelligence Education Federation. The university has four campuses, namely Guangzhou Shipai, Guangzhou University Town, Foshan Nanhai and Shanwei.
